Pots of Herbs and Punnets of Seedlings

Pots of Herbs and Punnets of Seedlings started out of my love of growing food and
teaching people how to grow vegetables and herbs.
I have always been interested in the healing properties of herbs as well.

Chemical Free plants

All my seedlings are grown by me.  There is no middleman or reseller.  They are raised from seed in part worm castings.  All happy and healthy.  Some herbs are propogated by root division or cutting, example, rosemary, thyme, some mints.  Please feel free to ask questions and come and have a look at my selections.  I grow whatever is in season and will grow in our conditions.  I do not grow tropicals.

Clifton & Surrounds Produce swap

I have a little group called Clifton & Surrounds Produce swap. We have been going since Dec 2013.

We are very small 50 to 60 members at any one time. There are some who don’t live in Clifton but that is fine. They are there because they are “like minded”.. They like to grow fresh home vegetables & fruit. They are also helping the others with advice and experience. We meet very often. Once a month in a cafe. The Clifton Jam Factory. We also meet at each other’s houses. “Hey I am cooking stir fry for dinner who has a pak choi”? “I have all this fruit given to me who would like to share”.. Its like the old days. How things used to be.

We swap. Vegetables, fruit, flowers, plants. Chooks and ducks and garden manures also labour are exchanged.
I hope to go on doing this for a very long time.

So if you find you have excess produce or just want to get to know some local growers give it a try in your area.

It will enrich your life.
